Soil type: Mediterranean clayey Terra Rossa
Production area: estate vineyards in the Zola Predosa Ponte Ronca area of Colli Bolognesi
Harvest method: by hand in crates containing 25kg
Period of harvest: late October
Vinification: destemming, 4-6 months maceration in 500l oak tonneaux, followed by pressing, 6 months in concrete tanks and at least one year of bottle ageing.
Grape variety: Grechetto gentile
Training system: vertical trellis, 4500 vines/ha, north-south facing
Yield per hectare: 6 tons
